Outreach

With every day being a "school day" our outreach team is drawn from our membership, providing presenters that will talk to any audience on a range of general or specialist topics.  Our volunteers have a passion for all things space and a desire to share that passion with others.  As a consequence ‘they’ often do a lot more, getting involved in a number of STEM events and initiatives.  In fact we will work with any organisation, to access ‘all things space' to inspire the diverse population of Shropshire. 

Our current STEM Outreach Volunteers (Child & Adult Workforce) are part of the Community Engagement Equalities & Action Team affiliated to Telford and Wrekin Council, hence all have a DBS certificate.  All our outreach events are covered by public liability insurance, and any electrical equipment we use is PAT tested.   Any charges we make are used to cover the cost of venues and consumables, with any surplus re-invested to help enhance future experiences.
