Observing at Little Ness takes a Break

Saturday March 12th saw the final scheduled observing session at Little Ness. During the day there were some broken clouds but by the evening the sky was its usual sullen grey. Of the six sessions this winter we only managed one partial session of ‘now you see me, now you don’t’. In most previous winters there has been the occasional spell of cold, crisp, arctic dry conditions, giving good viewing, of which there has been little this winter. However as eternal optimists, we start the (hopefully better) 22-23 season on the second Saturday in October
